HAVE A WAY WITH - to be able to use something or to deal with something or someone well and effectively - Уметь обращаться с чем-то/кем-то, находить общий язык с кем-то.
He has a way with words.
She has a way with kids/dogs.
7) Клиенты не хотят воспринимать тебя всерьез
TOSH - (old-fashioned) чушь.

SWEAR BY smth - (informal) to believe strongly that something is effective or useful.
My dad swears by these vitamin pills.

AT smb's BECK AND CALL - always willing and able to do whatever someone asks - На побегушках.
Go and get it yourself! I'm not at your beck and call, you know.
BECK - сокращение от beckon - подозвать жестом или кивком.

TASKMASTER - someone who gives others a lot of work to do and expects them to work hard.
Our new teacher is a tough taskmaster.

BAPTISM OF FIRE - a very difficult first experience of something.

Hearing loss from excessive noise is an occupational hazard for nightclub workers.

RISK LIFE AND LIMB - do something very dangerous that may cause them to die or be seriously injured. - Рисковать жизнью и здоровьем.
Viewers will remember the dashing hero, Dirk, risking life and limb to rescue Daphne from the dragons.
DAMSEL IN DISTRESS - (humorous) a young woman who is in trouble and needs a man's help - дева в беде. Damsel/ˈdæmzəl/ - старомодное название незамужней девушки.

HARD GRAFT - (UK, informal) тяжелый труд
PAY OFF - to result in success
